May & June 2000Papa, Amma & Chhoti Bua arrived in Dubai on Thursday 25th May. They're
going to be here for a little over a month. They're quite excited to see Tarika all
"grown-up" with 2 teeth, crawling around madly & getting into all kinds of
mischief like making a bee-line for plug points, wires, sharp corners of tables, books
& papers, and so on....
Ishita should hopefully be here on the 18th of June and on the
25th Ishita, Mihika, Anandita (a friend of Mihika) & I set of on an exciting holiday
to EuroDisney. After 3 days in DisneyLand we hope to see other sights in Paris over a
couple of days.
Nishad's results for his 12th final exams are out - and of course
he's done brilliantly as usual.
Shiela Aunty
is in Bombay at the moment and will be there for the next fortnight or so.
Niharu, Nalini & kids including Anuj are having family get-togethers
galore.
In London, Anna has stripped her
kitchen hoping to refurbish it totally. However, the contractors, not
wanting to break the tradition of difficult English workmen, have
just informed her that they can only start mid-June!!
It was taken in a quaint little
restaurant in the quaint little village-town of Aberlour....yes you're right - Aberlour of
the whisky fame. But then every village or town in Scotland makes whisky and all Scotch
whisky is famous...!!
